Because sometimes articles are mostly mind numbing... Here's a list of the benefits of consuming kelp.  Pound for pound Kelp is one of the most economical and beneficial "superfoods "that you can eat.

               a. high in iodine which saturates the thyroid against absorption of radioactive iodine.
